For FAO, I created a documentary-style motion piece about the 2008 Hadramout floods and the subsequent response. The narrative maps the scale of the damage while communicating water-infrastructure recovery, agricultural resilience, and community support.
My Approach
I used mixed-media compositing, animated maps, archival-style textures, and integrated footage to make a complex humanitarian story clear and human. The visual approach balances geographic context with the restorative impact of FAO’s work.
