The Hadrami Orchestra - Jeddah Season 2025

The Hadrami Orchestra's performance at Jeddah Season 2025 brought the rich, historical musical heritage of Yemen's Hadramout region to the grand stage of the Abadi Al-Johar Arena. For this spectacular live concert, I was tasked with animating a selection of the dynamic background visuals displayed on the massive LED screens behind the orchestra. These visuals were designed to elevate the live music, providing an immersive, atmospheric backdrop for the audience.


My Approach

Designing motion graphics for a live symphonic event requires a careful balance—the visuals must be grand and captivating, yet subtle enough not to distract from the musicians on stage. I focused on creating seamless, high-resolution animated loops that visually echoed the emotional beats and cultural roots of the Hadrami music. By blending traditional patterns, fluid transitions, and dynamic environmental elements, I ensured the backgrounds moved in harmony with the orchestral arrangements. This approach helped transform the stage into a cohesive, immersive environment that celebrated the beautiful fusion of historical Yemeni heritage and modern symphonic scale.
